Day 18-reflect

Through this I have learned that you can always be a good citizen and that it is not as simple as I thought it would be. To be a good citizen you must not do these things only when asked. This is called initiative. even though you can easily be a good citizen many people choose not to. So all of those "Gangsters" and "Taggers" It is a bad thing to damage someones property and so instead you can do something to help the community.

Day 6

Today I was still at my grandparents and so for when my relatives came over I; set the table, folded the napkins, vacuumed (again) and I helped watch my baby cousins for my aunties and uncles. I am sure that all of the adults appreciated that I watched their children for them. I really enjoyed it and petra and lauren (the babies) are really playful and energetic.

Day 5

Today I did the dishes, vacuuming, set the table and did the leaf vacuum thing. I am sure that my Grandma and Grandad really appreciated it because they thanked me when I did the jobs for them. It felt really good to help them.

Day 4

Today I was sick so I only did some filing for my dad. I am sure he appreciated it because that was one thing he didn't have to for his work. It felt nice to do something instead of just sitting there.

Day 2

today I earnt 2000 grains of rice for starving people at Freerice.com and i planted some oak saplings to help against carbon dioxide pollution. I know I made a difference because that someone somewhere got enough rice to survive for a day. It feels good to help because I know that I did something worthwhile to help humanity. I am sure that whoever got the rice is happy that they got a meal.

Day 1

Today I cleaned the windows, I brought my mum a glass of water and some paracetamol because she is sick with the flu (not swine flu) and I emptied the dishwasher. I made a difference because my mum was stuck in bed all day and so I think it helped her get better even though it may not be very much. I liked doing all these jobs (although washing the windows did get a bit repetitive) and it was a good use of time.
